Even with the 18th century Mansion House itself remaining closed due to Covid-19, there’s still plenty to see and do at this popular National Trust property.

Walks around acres of woodland allow visitors to take in spectacular views of the River Roden and the landscape beyond, with many interesting areas to explore along the way. Keep an eye open for the animals of Attingham Wood along the Mile Walk!

A herd of fallow deer are a highlight for many visitors, especially during feeding time, while the Field of Play - complete with log piles, earth mounds and willow tunnels - provides plenty of space for children to enjoy themselves.
