Surely an ideal classical music experience for a dark autumn night, this cosy candlelit event finds the European Baroque Ensemble and Singers presenting a programme of Mozart’s best known and most loved compositions. Featured pieces include Symphony no40, Lacrimosa (requiem D Minor), and Eine Kleine Musik, as well as excerpts from operas The Magic Flute, The Marriage Of Figaro and Cosi Fan Tutte.
The show has certainly been well received on its travels - although some reviewers have lamented the fact that the necessary stage lighting has somewhat compromised the ‘by candlelight’ element of the experience.
