Atmospheric layered abstractions exploring material, process and surface.

Unearthed presents new paintings by Ed Jeavons at the Stone Heritage Centre.

Working through a process of layering, eroding and rebuilding, Jeavons treats painting as a form of excavation - uncovering images through time, chance and persistence.

The works suggest landscapes, but resist literal depiction, instead inviting viewers into spaces shaped by memory, energy and material presence. Opening with a Private View on Thursday 6 November (6–8pm), the exhibition runs until 29 November 2025.

A companion exhibition of student work, Creative Responses to Unearthed, follows from 8–20 December 2025.
