This is an evening that no self-respecting fan of long-lamented Channel Four sitcom Father Ted will want to miss. Stand-up comedian Joe Rooney presents a screening of The Old Grey Whistle Theft, the episode in which he starred as the rebellious Father Damo, who led Dougal astray with his cigarette smoking and bad-boy attitude. Joe will also take you behind the scenes of the hit show, set a Craggy Island quiz, host an all-inclusive Lovely Girls Competition and lead a singalong to My Lovely Horse. Throw in a dancing priests contest plus appearances by Ziggy Stardust, Nirvana and Johnny Cash, and it’s clear an evening of manic Father Ted-celebrating entertainment is very much on the cards.
