Wheatus have found themselves somewhat unexpectedly back in the limelight in recent times, thanks to their year-2000 debut single, Teenage Dirtbag, gaining publicity via TikTok. 
The video hosting service’s ‘Teenage Dirtbag photos’ trend has been embraced by more than a million people - among them celebrities including Madonna, Lady Gaga and Jon Bon Jovi - with the resulting hashtag being viewed over two billion times worldwide. 
Not surprisingly, the New York rock band are making the most of the gratefully received publicity boost! They’re stopping off in the Potteries as part of a UK & Ireland tour.
