The first-ever UK tour of Burlesque the Musical has unveiled its lead cast, with television and stage star Faye Brookes set to take on the role of Tess.

Inspired by Steven Antin's 2010 film starring Christina Aguilera and Cher, the stage adaptation follows Ali, a young woman who discovers a vibrant underground world of music, glamour and self-discovery at a struggling burlesque lounge.

Brookes, whose theatre credits include Chicago, Legally Blonde and Shrek the Musical, will lead the touring production as Tess. She will be joined by  Ryan Carter (Titanique, West End) as both Sean & Ms Loretta, recent graduate Gracie O’Brien as Ali Rose, Davide Fienauri (Kiss of the Spiderwoman, Curve/UK tour) as Vince, Tyler Davis (Sunset Blvd, West End/Broadway) as Jackson, and Vanessa Ela Young (Moulin Rouge the Musical, West End) as Nikki.

Featuring songs by Christina Aguilera, Sia, Diane Warren, Jess Folley, Todrick Hall, and Steven Antin, the production's creative team is led by Producer, Writer & Creative Director Steven Antin, directed by Racky Plews (I‘m Every Woman The Chaka Khan Musical, Green Day’s American Idiot) with choreography by Robin Antin (creator of The Pussycat Dolls).
