The streets of Cheadle will once again be glowing with colour and creativity this autumn as the popular Cheadle Lantern Parade returns on Saturday 24 October.

Taking place as part of this year's Cheadle Arts Festival, the parade will begin at 6.30pm from the Guild Hall and will be led by the energetic Brazen Brass Band, an all-female ensemble known for its lively performances and infectious brass sound.

Residents and visitors are invited to join the illuminated procession and help light up the town centre with handmade lanterns. In the lead-up to the event, organisers Outside Arts will also be hosting a series of free lantern-making workshops, giving people the opportunity to create their own lanterns to carry in the parade.
