A major new initiative is showcasing the transformative power of light art, culture and creativity across the West Midlands this autumn and winter.
Funded by the National Lottery through Arts Council England, Illuminate The Midlands is a network of light art festivals which includes events taking place in Birmingham, Stoke-on-Trent and Worcester.
After delivering festivals independently for several years, partners have come together to work collaboratively in sharing expertise, supporting cultural development and strengthening the region’s reputation for high-quality light-based events.
Included in the network are Worcester’s Bridges Of Light - which took place late last month - Birmingham Light Festival and Stoke-on-Trent’s Light Up Winter, both of which will be held early next year.
