With Christmas preparations already underway, Dobbies Garden Centre in Gailey is looking to recruit a team of Santas and Elves to help spread festive cheer this winter.
The garden centre retailer, one of the UK's largest employers of seasonal festive characters, has opened applications for a variety of Christmas roles as it gears up for another busy festive season.
Successful applicants will play a key role in Dobbies' popular Christmas events programme, welcoming families to Santa's Grotto, hosting festive experiences and helping create magical memories for visitors throughout the season.
New recruits will take part in Dobbies' North Pole Academy, a dedicated training programme designed to prepare Santas and Elves for their festive duties. The scheme provides practical skills, support and guidance, helping seasonal colleagues deliver memorable experiences for customers of all ages.
Preparations will begin in mid-November ahead of Santa's Arrival on Saturday 22 November, which officially marks the start of Christmas celebrations at the Gailey store.
Victoria Craig, People Experience Manager at Dobbies, said: "We're thrilled to welcome back many of our much-loved Santas and Elves, who bring festive magic to families across our stores year after year.
"This Christmas, we're also inviting new recruits to join the team and become part of something truly special. Whether you're a seasoned Santa or discovering your Elf persona for the first time, we can't wait to help create magical memories together."
A range of flexible seasonal positions is available, with hours designed to suit a variety of lifestyles and commitments.
Applications are now open. Anyone interested in becoming part of Dobbies' festive team can find out more and apply at careers.dobbies.com.
