A celebration of art & culture that draws inspiration from (and has been created in consultation with) the Potteries’ South Asian community is making a welcome return this July.
Sensasian Family Day is a free-to-attend family-friendly event taking place at the New Vic Theatre in Newcastle-under-Lyme on Saturday 26 July.
The line-up includes performances from Circus Raj, the Rajasthan Heritage Brass Band, Baluji Shrivastav OBE, Dharshanodiyaa School of Bharathanatiyam and Tofail Ahmed & Gurpit Matharu.
Activities include block printing workshops, henna, pub quiz & bingo and The Poetry Takeaway.
Food and drink will be available to buy at the theatre. The café and bar will be open for usual hot and cold drinks and cake. Plus there will be a special plated menu for Sensasian available at £7 per plate.
