A new, intimate theatre space in Lichfield is this month playing host to a brand-new stage production from an also-new Midlands theatre company.
Lichfield venue The Hub is the location for Let Me In’s performance of award-winning folk musical Once, a play about two disenfranchised artists who’re drawn together by their shared love of music.
Leading the cast will be Luchi Carmignani and Phil King as Girl and Guy respectively (pictured above).
Luchi is a singer-songwriter from Italy, currently living in London, celebrating the release of her debut album, Alien Girl, earlier this year, and will be making her professional theatre debut in the production.
Phil is a hugely accomplished singer-songwriter with a vast catalogue of original music and an impressive array of theatrical credits, including several performances at Regents Park Open Air Theatre, recently reprising his role as Peter in the Jesus Christ Superstar concert revival.
The production shows from 26 August to 17 September. For more information and to book tickets, visit thehubstmarys.co.uk
