The outdoor cinema will return to Tamworth Castle Grounds this July as part of the town's Castle Summer Fest programming.

The cinema will open with an afternoon showing of Walt Disney Animation Studios' Encanto on Sunday 24 July. A popular animation that tells the tale of an extraordinary family, the Madrigals, who live hidden in the mountains of Colombia, in a magical house in a wondrous, charmed place called Encanto.

All tickets are priced at only £4, with gates open at 1pm, and the film starting at 2pm.

Later the same day, (Sunday 24 July) audiences are invited to experience The Rocky Horror Picture Show on the big screen.

Get ready to ‘jump to the left, step to the right and put your hands on your hips,’ as the time warp takes to the screen with the musical that features sing-along classics. The story describes a newly engaged couple that discover an isolate area following their car breakdown, forcing them to seek shelter at the bizarre residence of Dr Frank-n-Furter.

All tickets are priced at £8, with gates open at 8pm, for a 9pm film start. Please note this film is aged restricted for 15-year-olds and above.

Whilst on Wednesday 10 August audiences can enjoy the 2021 blockbuster favourite, West Side Story, directed by Academy Award winner Steven Spielberg,

This timeless story tells the tale of fierce rivalries and young love in New York City. Be ready to enjoy an evening of action, romance, and an emotional love story.

All tickets are priced at £8, with gates open at 6pm for a 7pm start. Please note this film is aged restricted to a 12A.
