Earthlings in Newcastle-under-Lyme are being asked to help extra terrestrial visitors find their way back to Planet Dance this month.

Whether you twisted your way through the 60s, did the shuffle in the 70s or pogoed through your punk phase, they need your help to get back home.

All Earthlings are being called to come help these deep-space dancers master your moves and help them on their way. From rhumba to robot, floss to foxtrot, Charleston to the Cha Cha Slide, they want to learn it all.

The two visitors will be landing in Newcastle Common on Friday 29 March who want you to teach them all your favourite shuffles and shapes to create their own dance piece. Then, on Saturday 30 March they’ll be performing their dance for the public to enjoy.

Drop-in anytime from 11am to 3pm on Friday 29 March to get involved, no dance experience required.

Meanwhile, from 1pm to 3pm on Friday 29 March, make-up artist Caitlin Ross will be playing with designs especially for Planet Dance performers. Like a public glam squad, she wants to hear your take on the looks she’ll be practising on herself and the artists.

All activities and performances are free and suitable for all audiences.
