Popular attraction 'The Beach' will return to Lichfield Cathedral this summer.
Opening on Wednesday 24 July, the beach will run until Sunday 1 September, providing seaside fun to families all summer long.
There will be sand, decking, deck chairs (available 10am - 5pm), children’s activities, refreshments and more. There is no charge to visit The Beach, with free children’s acitivites organised alongside it.
Activities include a Sensory Explorers Trail and Footprint Scrapbook available every day, Chill Out Chapel and storytelling sessions every Wednesday in August, Children’s Champions on Tuesday & Thursdays in August, a magician and circus skills on Tuesday 30 July and Thursday 29 August, plus Footstep Fridays - craft activities inspired by a small exhibition prepared by neurodivergent groups - on Fridays from 26 July - 30 August.
