The Hub at St Mary's has announced its Autumn/Winter 2026 season, promising a vibrant programme of live entertainment, inspiring talks, family shows and cultural experiences for audiences across the region.

The new season, which runs from September to December, brings together an eclectic mix of theatre, comedy, music, exhibitions and family-friendly performances.

Among the highlights are appearances from acclaimed speakers and adventurers. The popular Home lunchtime series continues with Millicent Chapanda on 4 November, while renowned mountaineer Adriana Brownlee will share her extraordinary adventures on 9 December. Comedian, author and broadcaster Robin Ince will also visit on 21 October to discuss what it means to be "weirdly normal".

Families are well catered for throughout the season, with productions designed to introduce younger audiences to the performing arts. The Tale of the Loneliest Whale arrives on 6 September, offering children their first theatre experience, while Flotsam on 26 October provides a playful introduction to opera.

Theatre enthusiasts can look forward to Bones in the Desert on 18 November, alongside a broad programme of live music, comedy, cabaret and exhibitions throughout the autumn and winter months.

Speaking about the new season, The Hub's Creative Director Anthony Evans said: "Our Autumn Winter 2026 season is built on consistency in a sea of change. We believe Art isn't a luxury – it's the glue that holds a community together when things get bumpy. And haven't we got a season to prove it. As always, it has been curated for you and we hope you find something in it that feels like yours."
