An exhibition that’s being hailed as a must-see for anybody with an interest in Victorian art and poetry, Siblings And Spouses explores the lives and legacy of the Rossetti family, who were central figures in the Pre-Raphaelite movement.

Sitting at the heart of the show is a series of recently acquired and previously unseen works by Dante Gabriel Rossetti, included among which are early experiments in lithography, a 19th-century printmaking technique widely used in books and fine art. The exhibition also shines a spotlight on the often-overlooked women who were connected to the Pre-Raphaelite circle. Art by Elizabeth Siddal and Lucy Madox Brown - both artists in their own right and Rossettis by marriage - are displayed alongside key works by Christina Rossetti.

A newly reattributed work by Christina is also included in the exhibition.
