Cats The Musical

A spectacular and captivating adaptation of TS Eliot’s Old Possum’s Book Of Practical Cats, this Andrew Lloyd Webber-composed extravaganza premiered 45 years ago.

The show is widely considered to be the production that redefined the modern musical, not only paving the way for a seemingly relentless stream of blockbuster hits but also giving starring roles to Elaine Page and Sarah Brightman. Indeed, even an execrable film version a handful of years back failed to make a dent in the stage production’s longstanding global popularity - a fact supported by this brand-new and extensive tour. Featured songs include Old Deuteronomy, Macavity: The Mystery Cat, Jellicle Ball - and, of course, the production’s famous anthem, Memory.

West End favourite Louise Dearman stars as Grizabella.
