Enjoy two rip-roaring weekends of 1940s fun, as the Severn Valley Railway steps back in time. Feel the spirit of the home-front brought to Worcestershire and Shropshire as you travel by heritage steam train to each station, where there is always something different to discover, see, do or dance to!

The four day festival of forties features attractions along the line between Kidderminster and Hampton Loade, taking you back in time to life on the home-front. A busy service of evacuation trains will be running, giving you the opportunity to ride all day and visit as many stations as you wish.

Perfect for those young and old, experience the Severn Valley as we promote awareness of the Second World War and the 1940s to generations that may have not experienced it first-hand, using reenactors, music, historic artefacts and of course, steam trains. Remember, don’t forget to dress up!

Pack your dancing shoes for the Big Band Show ‘party on the platform’ on Saturday 7 and 14 June at Kidderminster Station (additional charge applies).
