Darren, owner of Shrewsbury's Gindifferent Bar, has taken over The Libertine Cocktail Bar.

Commenting on the opening, he said: "We’re bringing everything you love about GD to Butcher Row — loads of gin, Shrewsbury Gin taking centre stage, and a brilliant selection of local beers, wines and spirits.

"We’ll be championing producers from Shropshire and the Borders, sharing the drinks and stories we love, and adding a few little twists along the way. Think familiar faces, great drinks and that unmistakable Gindifferent welcome… with a little more evening adventure.

"And yes, our Market Hall home is staying part of the story too!
