Telford Theatre may be closed until late next year, but that isn’t stopping the venue from providing Shropshire audiences with a programme of varied entertainment this autumn.
The theatre is mounting its shows in other venues and is presenting an eclectic line-up of productions across the next few weeks.
Highlights include: Tina Live: The Tina Turner Experienceat The Little Theatre, Donnington, on Friday 10 October. A full-scale extravagaza paying tribute to the iconic 'Queen of Rock'n'Roll', the show features Julie Nevada as Tina Turner with audiences taken on a journey through the highlights of her phenomenal career - from her early days with Ike Turner to her emergence as a solo powerhouse who changed the face of rock and soul music.
Backed by an amazing live band, dazzling dancers, and powerful backing vocals, this high-energy production captures the raw power, emotion, and electrifying spirit that made Tina Turner an icon for generations.
Exciting new ensemble Klezmer Foygl play Dawley Town Hall on Saturday 11 October. Led by Clarinettist John Macnaughton, and featuring some of the UK’s leading Klezmer musicians, the group is deeply grounded in traditional Yiddish music, whilst simultaneously seeking to innovate upon it, and bring a contemporary London twist to its music.
Members of Klezmer Foygl have played at some of the UK’s leading venues, toured internationally, and performed for television and theater. Including venues such as; BBC Radio Theatre, BBC Maida Vale Studios, The Southbank Centre, Wigmore Hall, The Barbican, Menier Chocolate Factory, and Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival.

Join multi award-winning film composer Phil Mountford for his fantastic 5-star reviewed tribute to the music of Sir Elton John and Bernie Taupin, in a night full of the back catalogue hits that this incredible singer/songwriter partnership produced.
