Iconic British singer and songwriter Paul Heaton, with special guest singer Rianne Downey,  is the latest star to be revealed as a Live at Ludlow Castle 2027 headliner as the acclaimed concert series returns for its fifth edition.

As the mellifluous voice of The Housemartins and The Beautiful South and prolific solo artist, Paul Heaton’s wry wit and infectious melodies often sugarcoat the jaggedly satirical content of his lyrics. Over 40 years since Heaton founded The Housemartins and 20 years since going solo, his signature style and immediately recognisable flair continues to inspire new generations of songwriters.

He will be joined by Scottish singer-songwriter Rianne Downey, who Paul first discovered from a video she posted during the pandemic, a cover of his former band The Beautiful South's song Rotterdam (Or Anywhere).

Paul Heaton plays Ludlow Castle on Saturday 17 July. Postcode pre-sale for residents local to Ludlow Castle (SY7 | SY8 | HR6 | DY14 | WR15) will open at 10am on Wednesday 4 November here. General sale opens at 10am on Friday 6 November here.
