Shrewsbury restaurant Rhubarb at Drapers Hall has announced its closure.

In a statement on Instagram, owners Ade and Mim have said: "It is with both sadness and immeasurable gratitude that we announce the closure of our restaurant, RHUBARB at Drapers Hall from 7th September 2026.

"It has been an incredibly successful journey for all involved, but after much thought and careful consideration we have concluded that this is the right decision for us at this time.

"We have chosen to make this announcement early to ensure you have the opportunity to redeem any gift vouchers, as they will not be valid for use after the 7th September.

"We are thrilled to be entering this final chapter with such a wonderful team, whose positivity and commitment has always been outstanding, as we know it will continue to be until the end of this adventure.

"Thank you for your continued support. We would love to see you before our last service! Ade, Mim & the Entire Team at RHUBARB."
