RAF Museum Midlands is home to more than 70 historic aircraft displayed in three wartime hangars on an active airfield.                                                                                                  

The museum boasts a variety of exhibitions and displays. One of the most popular features a collection of aircraft from the Battle of Britain era, including the world’s oldest Spitfire and the collection’s latest permanent addition, Strike Hard, Strike Sure: Bomber Command 1939 - 1945... Virtual tours, hands-on fun’n’flight activities and dedicated conservation and exhibition areas further add to the venue’s impressive offer.

The RAF Museum Midlands has been recognised as one of the UK’s top museums, achieving
joint first place in the latest Which? ‘Best Museums and Galleries’ survey.

Based on feedback from more than 2,000 Which? connect members, the Museum received an
outstanding score and was awarded Which? Recommended Provider status - a distinction
reserved for organisations that consistently demonstrate excellence in both quality and visitor
experience.
