Families are invited to enjoy a summer of movie magic as Cinema on the Stones returns to Newcastle-under-Lyme with a series of free outdoor film screenings.
Taking place at The Stones, at the bottom of the High Street, the popular event will bring three family favourites to the town centre throughout August in partnership with Newcastle-under-Lyme Borough Council.
The season begins on Sunday 2 August at 12pm with a screening of Disney and Pixar's Inside Out. The event will run alongside the Castle Preloved Market - Rummage & Re-home, giving visitors the chance to enjoy sustainable shopping, free family activities and a feel-good family film.
On Sunday 16 August, film fans can enjoy two screenings as part of the Castle Artisan Market. Disney's The Little Mermaid will be shown at 10.30am, followed by Hook at 1pm, creating a day packed with artisan shopping, independent traders and family entertainment.
Visitors are encouraged to bring camping chairs or picnic blankets and settle in for a relaxed day in the town centre. Those attending can pack their own picnic or take advantage of the wide range of local cafés, businesses and market traders nearby.
