Trentham has partnered with global art producer Wild in Art and Peanuts™, the iconic comic strip created by Charles M. Schulz, to unveil a brand-new Snoopy sculpture trail.
From Friday 27 March to Monday 4 May, a dozen unique artist-designed Snoopy sculptures will pop up across the Trentham Gardens throughout spring.
Featuring Snoopy on his famous doghouse, each of the 12 sculptures will reflect the artist’s unique interpretation, filling the historic landscape with moments of surprise and delight. Each sculpture shows the world-famous beagle perched on his iconic red doghouse, reimagined by a different artist. Visitors are invited to explore the gardens while discovering each unique artwork along the way.
The Snoopy Trentham Trail is presented Wild in Art and Peanuts™, bringing together art, creativity, and one of the most loved characters of all time in a setting designed for visitors of every age.
The adventure begins at the Trentham Visitor Centre, where guests can pick up a free trail activity pack. The pack acts as an explorer passport, encouraging visitors to collect a stamp at each Snoopy sculpture as they make their way around the gardens. The experience also includes a competition, giving participants the chance to win a giant plush Snoopy.
Kerrie Pope, Head of Events and Marketing at Trentham, said: “We are thrilled to host the Snoopy Trail at Trentham Gardens. This event is a wonderful way to bring art and nature together, creating a fun and interactive experience for families, art lovers, and visitors of all ages. We can’t wait for everyone to come and see these incredible sculptures in our stunning gardens.”
Charlie Langhorne, Managing Director and Co-founder of Wild in Art, said: “We’re delighted to be returning to Trentham Gardens with a brand-new art trail, this time featuring the iconic and much-loved Snoopy. It’s a great opportunity to get out in the fresh air and take a stroll around these beautiful gardens, while discovering some unique and inspiring art along the way.”
Whilst at Trentham, visitors can also head to One More Bear and Trentham’s Gift Shop in the Shopping Village to purchase official Snoopy souvenir merchandise.
A range of seasonal highlights will run alongside the Snoopy Trentham Trail in the gardens. Lambing Live, taking place from Monday 30 March to Sunday 12 April, gives visitors the chance to see newborn lambs up close. The experience is further enhanced by Trentham’s Spring Bulb Festival, which will be in bloom throughout the trail, showcasing over one million bulbs flowering across the gardens and along the trail route.
The Snoopy Trentham Trail is included with standard garden admission and is free for Trentham members. Visitors can enjoy the trail during regular garden opening hours throughout the event.
