Families across Tamworth are set for an action-packed start to the summer holidays as the Tamworth Family Fun Festival arrives at the Castle Grounds on Sunday 19 July.

Organised by Tamworth Borough Council, the event promises a full day of live entertainment, interactive activities and family attractions, transforming the town's historic Castle Grounds into a vibrant festival destination for visitors of all ages.

Running from 11am, the festival will feature a programme of tribute performances celebrating some of the biggest names in children's and popular music. Young visitors can enjoy a tribute to children's favourite Miss Rachel, while fans of contemporary music will be treated to performances inspired by Sabrina Carpenter, Harry Styles, Taylor Swift and K-pop stars throughout the afternoon.

Festival organisers have also lined up a range of attractions away from the stage. Dinosaur walks will take place at regular intervals during the day, culminating in a special appearance from baby dinosaurs later in the afternoon. Visitors can also take part in circus workshops, giant bubble displays, face painting, glitter tattoos, hair braiding, archery sessions and inflatable activities.

Community stalls and street food vendors will also be on hand throughout the event.

Tickets are priced at £5 for children under 16, £7.50 for adults and £22 for a family ticket covering up to four people.
