Now in its 24th year, the event will be held on Saturday 2 September and is set to draw thousands of concert goers for an evening of music in the twilight.

Proms is renowned for its rousing atmosphere and features local musicians, a symphony orchestra and singers and closes with time-honoured favourite Elgar’s Pomp and Circumstance March No. 1 (Land of Hope and Glory) and a stunning fireworks display.

The line-up will see children’s activities and refreshments from 5.30pm, The City of Lichfield Concert Band warm up the crowd as they find their places from 6pm, and the main concert by the British Police Symphony Orchestra from 7.30pm.

Tickets in the Zest Education Prime Seating Area are available for £70 per table of four or £105 per table of six plus a small booking fee. You can also hire a deckchair to view this years event for just £10.
