People across Staffordshire are being invited to come together to remember loved ones and support a vital local charity as Katharine House Hospice's popular Walk to Remember returns this autumn.
The family-friendly event will take place on Saturday 26 September at 5.30pm in the picturesque grounds of Shugborough Estate.
Participants will follow an accessible 5km route that winds alongside the Rivers Sow and Trent and passes the historic Shugborough Hall. The walk is suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs, making it accessible for people of all ages and abilities.
Organisers say the event offers a meaningful opportunity for families and friends to celebrate the lives of those they have lost, while raising essential funds to support the work of Katharine House Hospice.
Walkers will also have the chance to make a special dedication in memory of someone close to them. Dogs are welcome to join the walk, and free parking will be available on site.
Early bird tickets are priced at £15 until 30 June, increasing to £17.50 from 1 July. Children aged 12 and under can take part free of charge.
Funds raised from the event will help Katharine House Hospice continue providing specialist care and support to patients and their families across the local community.
