Jo Gane: Liquid Silver

Jo Gane’s latest exhibition sees the artist & educator using her research into Victorian photographic processes to produce new works that examine how these early methods and materials left their mark on people and the environment. 
“My practice is based around photographic archives and history,” explains Jo. “Central to that practice is the idea of the photograph as a two-dimensional slice of history and its function in relation to the progression of time.”
The exhibition is the result of a partnership between Compton Verney, Coventry Biennial and Warwickshire Libraries.
