Comedian, musician and ballroom trailblazer Bill Bailey will bring his spellbinding new show to Coventry next year.

Having dazzled audiences in New Zealand in recent weeks, the TV personality and 2020 Strictly Come Dancing winner has today announced a UK and Ireland arena tour for Winter 2026.

Vaudevillean, ‘a celebration of comedy, songs and multifarious skill’ showcasing Bill’s trademark musical stylings and characteristic wit, will call at Coventry Building Society Arena on Friday 13 November 2026.

Designed to amuse and amaze a broad audience with ‘enthralling family fun, to divert and transport from the tribulations of daily life’ the show will provide a platform for Bill as ‘a versatile multi-instrumental, multi-lingual, purveyor of humour and musical prowess’.

The 60-year-old from Somerset started out in stand up, winning a Time Out award in 1995 before being nominated for the Perrier Comedy Award for his critically-acclaimed show at Edinburgh’s Fringe Festival a year later.

Bailey won Best Live Stand-Up award at the British Comedy Awards in 1999; an accolade that paved the way for a string of prime-time TV appearances.

The quirky comic has been a regular on hit panel shows Never Mind the Buzzcocks, Have I Got News for You and QI, and also wrote and presented his own programme Is It Bill Bailey?

Bailey is the latest household name to appear at Coventry Building Society Arena as part of the venue’s CBS Live programme which has played host to the likes of The Rolling Stones, Harry Styles, Coldplay, Rhianna, The Arctic Monkeys, The Spice Girls, P!NK, Take That, Florence and The Machine and Bon Jovi.
