Coventry Charterhouse

Christmas at Coventry Charterhouse | National Trust Wednesday 3 December - Sunday 4 January (closed 24th & 25th December) 9am-5pm (house opens 10 am-4pm).

Visitors are invited to experience a Christmas full of heritage and charm at Coventry Charterhouse, one of the city’s most historic landmarks.

Step inside this beautifully restored 14th century former Carthusian monastery and discover festive decorations that bring a cosy glow to its atmospheric interiors. Throughout December, visitors can enjoy special seasonal events including immersive performances of A Christmas Carol, craft workshops and family activities.

After exploring the house, connect with nature and take a winter stroll through the walled garden and grounds, then warm up in the café with a hot drink and homemade treat.

 

Charlecote Park

Christmas at Charlecote Park | National Trust Monday 17 November - Sunday 4 January 2025 (excluding 25th December), 9am-4pm (house opens 11am).

Travel back to the 1840s and experience Charlecote Park styled for a Victorian masquerade ball this festive season. Explore the house to take in the splendour of giant Christmas trees, have a go at waltzing in the ballroom, and reminisce about Christmas pasts in the Memories Room. Hop on the carriage for an unforgettable photo.

Bring the family along on the Butler’s trail and play games to help the servants complete their tasks before the winter ball.

After a brisk winter walk in the deer park, warm up in the cafés with a hot drink and some delicious festive favourites, or pop to the shop to find Christmas cards, gifts and trinkets.

Baddesley Clinton

Christmas at Baddesley Clinton | National Trust Saturday 29 November - Sunday 4 January (excluding 24th & 25th December), 9am-4pm (house opens 10.30am).

Enjoy the build-up to the festive season at Baddesley Clinton this winter and reflect on Christmas memories and traditions. Explore the house where the kitchen is all abustle with the preparation of festive food, the log fire in the Great Hall is burning to keep the chill at bay and the children are dreaming of the snowmen they might build and the fun of snowball fights ahead.

In addition to festive foods, glowing fires, and a house adorned for a traditional Christmas, Baddesley Clinton is delighted to host The Snowman™ Trail, presented by Wild in Art. From 12 November 2025 to 11 January 2026 (on open days), twelve giant sculptures will be displayed throughout the gardens, inviting guests to spot each one as part of the seasonal celebration. No booking required.
