The Ivy Collection takes Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet to the streets of Stratford-upon-Avon to announce reservations are now open for its new Brasserie, opening Tuesday 29 September.

The Ivy Collection has announced the opening of reservations for The Ivy Stratford-upon-Avon Brasserie, revealing that its first Warwickshire brasserie will open on Tuesday 29th September. The iconic restaurant celebrated the news with a Shakespearean spectacle through the streets of Stratford-upon-Avon, as local theatre company Tread the Boards brought Shakespeare, Romeo and Juliet to life, dressed in costumes from the Royal Shakespeare Company and accompanied by violinists from SE Strings.

The 47th restaurant in the Collection, The Ivy Stratford-upon-Avon Brasserie will offer all-day dining seven days a week, perfect for everything from leisurely lunches and catch-ups over cocktails to dining before the curtain goes up. The menu will balance much-loved signature dishes, such as The Ivy Shepherd’s Pie, with fresh, contemporary flavours, as well as a dedicated pre-theatre offering.

Joining The Ivy’s extensive selection of hand-picked wines, beers and spirits, the Juliet’s Fizz is an exclusive cocktail made with locally produced Shakespeare Mulberry Gin. The cocktail offers a local twist to the Ivy’s drinks menu and a fitting toast to one of Shakespeare’s most famous leading ladies.

Located at 33-35 High Street, the brasserie’s interior will blend The Ivy’s signature elegance with thoughtful nods to the town’s rich heritage. The Brasserie will seat 154 diners, with an outdoor terrace offering space for an additional 12 guests.

The countdown to opening day is officially underway, with guests invited to make their reservations now and be among the first to experience The Ivy Stratford-upon-Avon Brasserie from Tuesday 29th September.
