As the nights draw in, and spooky season is just around the corner, come face-to-face with terror at Coventry's Albany Theatre.

With sinister storytelling - both spine-tingling fiction and real-life tales from Coventry's history - and a classic festive ghost story, there's something for everyone at the theatre this month.

On Thursday 9 October, The Book of Darkness & Light present Ghost Stories: two terrifying tales in an intimate and spellbinding solo show, brought to life by master of the macabre Adam Z. Robinson.

One lamp-lit storyteller, two ghostly tales and nothing else but the infinite horrors of the surrounding darkness...

On Halloween itself, join Adam Wood in Real-Life Halloween Horror, featuring real-life tales of terror from the Coventry of long ago, when old stories of ghosts, ghouls and gruesome death abound.

Halloween costume is encouraged, with a prize awarded to the best outfit, in this ghostly journey into the past, recommended for ages 14+.

If you'd rather look beyond the witching hour to the coziness of Christmas, join Ballet Theatre UK for a classic, festive ghost story with a difference!

Back by popular demand, A Christmas Carol is a heartwarming treat for the whole family. See Ebenezer Scrooge's journey to redemption, as he's visited by three enchanting ghosts, with a score of festive carols, breathtaking costumes, and the stunning choreography of Artistic Director Christopher Moore.
