Forge Mill Farm's sunflower fields are once again open to the public this summer.

With over 250,000 sunflowers across five acres, the field is one of the biggest in the West Midlands.

Day time visits to the sunflower field are included in the usual Forge Mill Farm ‘Summer at the farm’ ticket and for all Summer Pass holders. With visitors also able to check out the farm and its animals during their visit.

Saturday 2 August will see the return of the Dogs Night, where four legged friends can explore the field as the sun goes down, dig in to some Doggy Pick and Mix or indulge in some doggy ice cream and the new puppicinos.

Meanwhile on Monday 4 August, an all new VIP experience will take place, where visitors can meet carriage horses and Shetland ponies in the sunflower field and grab some pictures, before joining the team for a walk around the farm and past the crops.

On Thursday 7 August, the Highland cow evening will allow a small group of visitors meet the newest arrivals to the farm, 12 month old Highland cows, Bonnie and Buttercup. Explore the sunflower field before joining the cows for their first walk around the farm.

Then on Friday 8 August, 'Sunflowers At Sunset' is back, allowing you catch some photos at golden hour, enjoy live music, pick your own sweetcorn and enjoy a tractor and trailer ride.
