Familiar television face Tommy Cannon will return to the stage in Coventry next month, two years after losing his long-term double-act partner Bobby Ball.

In what’s been described as ‘a fun-packed variety show’, Tommy will look back on his career with ‘stories, songs and laughter’, recalling the days  when Cannon & Ball were showbiz royalty.

The lunchtime performance will be hosted by the theatre's regular musical host Andy Eastwood and feature performances from a host of multi-talented performers including vocalists Lorraine Brown and Helen Farrell. Britain's Got Talent star juggler Jay Rawlings and Everly Brothers tribute The Temple Brothers will also contribute to the entertainment, as does celebrity interviewer Mark Andrews who will put audiences questions to bill-topper Tommy.

The one-off afternoon performance is part of the Belgrade Theatre’s Midday Variety season and takes place on Wednesday 7 June at 1.30pm.
