Soap star Bill Ward will play the role of the evil Abanazar in Redditch Palace Theatre’s pantomime production of Aladdin this Christmas. Bill, who will be familiar to fans of Coronation Street and Emmerdale, is joined in the cast by children’s TV favourite Dave Benson Phillips and Britain’s Got Talent comedy impressionist Tony Rudd.

The show runs at the theatre from Saturday 13 December to Sunday 4 January.
