A popular family-friendly music and street food festival is set to return to Stratford-upon-Avon for the first time in eight years in June.

StratFest will be held in the grounds of The Stratford Park Hotel and Golf Club on Saturday 1 June and is set to showcase some of the best musical talent and street food from across Warwickshire.

The Stratford Park Hotel & Golf Club is on Ingon Lane and a short 10-minute drive from Stratford-upon Avon town centre.

It will be welcoming musical talent including No Direction, Miami Coast, DJ Alex, Anita Madderson, George Webb and the Ultimate Dua Lipa Tribute Act – with more acts still to be announced.

There will be street food from Montgomery’s Pizza Co., Fizz & Finn Fish & Chips, Nally’s Jamaican Jerk & Grill, Time for Tea, Giddy Ups and The Scran Man for festival goers to enjoy. Bars will be serving cocktails, prosecco, draught beer, ales and soft drinks to wash down the mouth-watering street food.

All music and bars will be under a marquee to ensure festival goers don’t need to worry about the unpredictable British weather. There will also be a children’s section with fairground rides and activities for kids to enjoy on the day.

StratFest has announced that it will be supporting The Shakespeare Hospice as its chosen charity for this year’s event as part of the hospice’s 25th year celebrations.

Beverley Haynes, General Manager at The Stratford Park Hotel & Golf Club, said: “It has been eight years since we last hosted StratFest and we’re really excited to be bringing back the family friendly festival.

“It is set to be a wonderful day to bring the community together from the town and surrounding areas.”
