Touchwood Solihull is celebrating a triple victory after securing two wins at this year’s Sceptre Awards and one accolade at the Solihull Chamber of Commerce Awards 2023.

On Thursday 19 October, the centre took home wins for Community Initiative of the Year – Wales & The Midlands and Car Park of the Year at the 2023 Sceptre Awards; an annual celebration of excellence in shopping centre management, highlighting management teams, retailers and suppliers across the UK.

Touchwood’s Wellness Retreat gained recognition, taking home the regional award for Community Initiative of the Year. Initially a one-week project launched in support of World Mental Health Day 2022, the retreat was so well received that it is now a permanent feature at Touchwood. It offers free coffee, cake, foot massages and most importantly, company for those in need of someone to talk to.

The centre was also awarded Car Park of the Year, with the judges describing the win as “no surprise”. The centre’s car park excels on all fronts, offering shop mobility, car valeting, electric vehicle charging and simple payment via the RingGo app to shoppers – all available with zero car crime space.

On Friday 20 October, Touchwood rounded off its winning streak at the Solihull Chamber Awards 2023, securing the award for Excellence in Sales, Marketing & Communications. The accolade further demonstrates the centre’s commitment to create an exciting and diverse destination for visitors both locally and nationally.
