Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice have added a much-loved community fun day back to the events calendar, taking place at Keresley Rugby Club on Sunday 19 May.

It has been 5 very long years since the last Zoe’s Place fayre in 2019 with the pandemic forcing the already planned 2020 event to be cancelled.

Fast forward to 2024 and along with event sponsor Arden Fine Foods plus the generosity and support from Keresley Rugby Club, Zoe’s Place Baby Hospice Coventry now have the resources available once again to secure the events return and it’s hoped this becomes an annual festival to be enjoyed by all.

Expect to see local businesses such as Tigby on Tour and Evipop’s Design, a local business owned by Rachel Griggs, parent of the amazing Evelyn who is a current Zoe’s Place child. Plus, not to mention many more stalls selling an array of gifts and produce, a jampacked activity timetable, face painting, bouncy castle, refreshments and some all-important fundraising fun and games.

In addition, Zoe’s Place are introducing a Charity Sports Tournament! Gather your friends, colleagues, teammates and test your skills in this friendly competition. Whether you're a football fanatic or a netball enthusiast or just like the idea of some competitive fun while raising money for this amazing local charity then they need you in their 5-a-side football and 7-a-side netball tournaments plus it’s only £25 per team to enter.

Doors open at 11am on Sunday 19 May, with plenty of parking on site and facilities to suit all. Even your furry canine friends are welcome, the charity and rugby club just ask that dogs are well behaved and kept on at lead.

Zoe’s Place are still looking for extra entertainment acts to perform on the day. Are you a local group, dance troupe or just something fun that can entertain the crowds? E-mail hellocoventry@zoes-place.org.uk or call the friendly fundraising team on 024 76361675.
