This Tudor house has been home to the Throckmorton family for 600 years, who were leaders in a dangerous age, helping to bring about Catholic emancipation in the 19th century.  Visitors can look at the collection of Catholic treasures, walk through the ancient woodland, and visit the restaurant for a cream tea.  There is also a play area with trails and activities for children.
