Find out what life was like for the world’s most famous playwright as he grew up in Stratford-upon-Avon.
The venue’s attractions include numerous rare objects, one of which is an original folio of the Bard’s complete works. Visitors can also hear stories of Shakespeare’s family life, check out Will’s father’s glove-making workshop, and take a stroll through gardens which may well have inspired some of Shakespeare’s most poetic writings.
The four other Shakespeare Family Homes & Gardens in the Trust’s care - Anne Hathaway’s Cottage, Shakespeare’s New Place, Hall’s Croft and Mary Arden’s Farm - will not reopen before spring 2021.
