Visitors can explore a recreated historic town, stroll along period high streets, follow a family discovery trail and meet characters from different eras.
There’s plenty to keep all ages entertained, from traditional games and Edwardian school lessons, to industrial demonstrations and music from the past.
Food lovers can pay a visit to the museum’s famous fish & chip shop, and families can round off their day with a ride on the vintage funfair.
The venue will be staying open late every Friday throughout the month (until 8pm).
