If you’ve never heard of Swamplesque, you won’t be alone - but there are plenty of theatre-goers around the world who would be only too happy to testify to its quality.

Taking Australia by storm and selling out at each of the last two Edinburgh Festivals, the show is a burlesque and drag-parody homage to the wonderful world of DreamWorks Animation’s swamp-dwelling ogre, Shrek. Presenting its audiences with a veritable smorgasbord of performance styles, the show boasts eye-catching costumes and plenty of sassy, body-positive choreography.
