Shrewsbury’s decommissioned and famously ‘haunted’ prison will this month serve as the destination for charity motorbike ride Cruise4Crews.
Taking place on Friday 6 June, the special event will see a team of motorcyclists hitting the road in support of YFW Blood Bikes, a charity whose volunteers provide a free emergency medical motorcycle courier service.
The journey will begin outside another ‘haunted’ jail, Somerset’s Shepton Mallet Prison. Upon arrival at Shrewsbury, the riders will then face a ‘chilling’ overnight stay in the prison, departing for home the following morning.
