The RAF Museum’s London and Midlands sites have been recognised among Tripadvisor’s top 10% of attractions worldwide in the 2026 Travellers’ Choice Awards.
As the world’s largest travel guidance platform, Tripadvisor’s awards are based on genuine visitor reviews collected over a 12-month period. The recognition reflects consistently positive first-hand experiences shared by travellers and visitors from around the world.
Barry Smith, Director of Commercial and Visitor Services at the RAF Museum, said:
“We are delighted that both RAF Museum sites have been recognised among travellers’ favourites in this year’s Travellers’ Choice Awards. As one of the travel industry’s most respected accolades, this recognition is especially meaningful because it is based entirely on feedback from our visitors.
Being ranked among the top 10% of attractions worldwide is a tremendous achievement and a testament to the dedication of our staff and volunteers, who work tirelessly to create memorable and inspiring experiences for every visitor. We are incredibly grateful to everyone who has taken the time to share their positive reviews and support our museums.”
Matt Dacey, Chief Marketing Officer at Tripadvisor, added:
“Congratulations to the RAF Museum on its recognition in Tripadvisor’s Travellers’ Choice Awards for 2026. Ranking among the top percentage of businesses globally demonstrates the lasting impression you have made on your visitors, many of whom took the time to share glowing reviews of their experiences. We hope this recognition continues to support the Museum’s success in 2026 and beyond.”
The latest accolade follows further recognition from Which?, which named RAF Museum Midlands a Recommended Provider and ranked it joint top among UK museums. RAF Museum London also achieved the joint highest visitor score of any museum or gallery in the capital.
The RAF Museum remains committed to delivering outstanding visitor experiences while sharing the inspiring stories of the Royal Air Force and its people with audiences of all ages.
Visitors can enjoy a free family day out at either museum, both of which are open daily from 10.00am. Admission is free. Visit rafmuseum.org.uk to find out more.
