Located at the Lunt Roman Fort

Join the Herbert for the Lunt’s most spectacular event of the year, when the fort truly comes to life! Marvel at displays from living history re-enactment groups, take to the field as part of the interactive Battle Drill, or explore the Roman village.

Refreshments will be available from local food vendors, plus replica Roman goods will be on sale in the living history village!

There will be an early years takeover area, ready to keep the youngest visitors entertained and immersed in a world of play with open-ended resources that inspire imaginations.

You will also be able to explore this unique reconstructed monument, taking in the sights of the ramparts, the granary building and the only known Gyrus inside a Roman fort!

PLUS! For the first time ever, experience spectacular horse displays from ARC in the gyrus.

Please note that this event is located at the Lunt Roman Fort in Baginton. This is around a 20-35 minute bus route or 11 minute car journey from the Herbert Art Gallery & Museum.
