New York-born, Tamil Nadu-raised singer and trans-disciplinarian ganavya is an improviser, scholar, dancer and multi-instrumentalist.  

Nilam, is ganavya’s much-anticipated second album on Nils Frahm’s LEITER label, released on 23 May 2025. It follows last year’s Daughter Of A Temple which was named Gilles Peterson’s BBC 6 Music Album of the Year and was also recognized as one of 2024’s Top 10 Best Global Albums by The Guardian.
