Birmingham theatre The Alexandra is once again running annual youth theatre initiative Stage Experience during the school summer holiday.

Celebrating its 20th anniversary in 2025, the project sees young people aged between nine and 24 collaborating with theatre-industry professionals to rehearse and ultimately present a musical.

This summer’s show, West Side Story, will be performed at the venue from Thursday 14 to Saturday 16 August. Tickets can be booked here.
