The tables are set, the glasses polished and the finishing touches complete, as The Ivy Stratford-upon-Avon Brasserie welcomes its first diners today. Nestled on the town’s historic High Street, the Brasserie brings The Ivy’s signature style to Warwickshire.

With an elegant dining space for 166 guests, a sumptuous bar and terrace creating the perfect backdrop for everything from leisurely lunches to pre-theatre dinners and evening cocktails, The Ivy's new Stratford-upon-Avon location is now open.

The interiors have been created with Stratford-upon-Avon firmly in mind, combining The Ivy’s distinctive design with details inspired by the town’s rich cultural heritage. Among them is bespoke wallpaper, with thoughtful nods to William Shakespeare, the globe and his birthplace hidden throughout, giving the Brasserie a character all its own.

While the first diners will take their seats today, The Ivy Stratford-upon-Avon has already had its first taste of celebration, following an exclusive launch party last Thursday evening.

The event brought together guests from across Warwickshire, with the mayor of Stratford-upon-Avon, Sam McNaught Barrow, and TV and social media personality, Jonny Hincks, among those walking The Ivy’s signature green carpet before enjoying flowing Champagne, delicious canapés and live entertainment.

Adding a distinctly Shakespearean twist to the occasion was Juliet’s Fizz, the Brasserie’s signature cocktail made with locally produced Shakespeare Mulberry Gin. Guests could also choose from a selection of carefully crafted alcohol-free beverages, including Wild Idol Non Alcoholic Sparkling Wine.

A selection of canapés inspired by the Brasserie’s menu was served throughout the evening, including delicate coupes of Truffle Arancini and moreish Creme Brûlée Doughnuts, while live entertainment from local performers provided the perfect soundtrack to the celebrations.
