Weekend visitors to Coventry Cathedral this month can find out all about life in the city during the Second World War.

Located in the corner of the Cathedral Ruins, the Blitz Museum comprises a treasure trove of 1940s memorabilia and artefacts, with a special focus on the Coventry Blitz. The museum is open across four weekends (3rd & 4th, 17th & 18th, 24th & 25th, and 31st October & 1st November). On these weekends, the museum will be open on Saturday from 11am - 3pm and on Sunday 12pm - 3pm.

Visitors will learn more about the Coventry Blitz on 14th November 1940 in the period school room, and will then travel through a typical house of the time and learn more about life in this era from one of the Cathedral’s friendly and knowledgeable volunteers.
